I have been working in Louvain-la-Neuve, in the supply chain service for almost 3 years. This department truly support service to other departments. Which means that I am continuously interacting with other departments. My job requires a lot of collaboration internally and externally with my suppliers. My job is very varied, rich in contacts and content. It is also a key function in the company. Good communication skills are therefore essential. I interact a lot with other departments. Another important quality in the Purchasing department is perseverance. On a daily basis, I have to make sure that raw materials are delivered on time on our premises and then released on time to supply the factory needs. When my suppliers announce a delay in delivery, I have to find a solution to avoid any impact on our production planning. All these daily challenges fascinate me.

For me, the most important thing to keep in mind is that the products we make will be used by people with serious illnesses. I continuously remind myself that every action I take on a daily basis has a possible impact on the health of these people. Therefore, I constantly hold myself highly accountable for the performance and results of my work.

It is also my responsibility that the people on my team feel good about their work. In my opinion, that's how anyone will deliver its best potential and quality work.
In addition to being responsible for my team, I am also in charge of the shipping of our finished products to our customers. This may seem like a trivial task, but to me finished products that we ship is the result of the work of all people at Minakem . Every decision taken, every effort made is reflected in the finished product.

Also, I keep in mind the purpose of what we produce on this site. We produce active ingredients used by patients with, sometimes, severe pathologies. Each decision or action I take has a possible impact on the health of patients. As a result, I feel highly accountable, like everyone else on this site, for my actions. That's what motivates me at Minakem.
